On March 30 to April 2, Calgary will welcome the Salsa world’s best international performers and world famous salsa dancers for a weekend of workshops, performances, salsa music, and dancing. Watch nightly salsa showcases featuring amateur and professional salsa dancers. Friday evening features local and amateur dancers, and international guests. Saturday showcase features local dancers, professional dancers, and international guests. Sunday features showcases and the exciting Masters Jack & Jill.
Each night will finish with an exciting dance party. Rub elbows with the show's stars and dance the night away on huge dance floors. Optional daytime workshops are available for experienced and beginner dancers who want to take part in the action. Learn from the best teachers in the world in many styles of dance. Over 25 hours available. Workshops include salsa, bachata, kizomba, cha cha, tango, burlesque, body movement, stretching, and many more!
The Calgary International Salsa Congress will have something for everyone! Amazing shows, inspiring workshops, exciting competitions, great music, a beautiful location, and the warmth of the people of Calgary.
