12/30- Pama Pomegranate Liqueur, CSPC 721365; Retail: $40-$45 per 750 ml. bottle
Click above for more info.
PAMA Pomegranate Liqueur, the world's first true pomegranate liqueur, is leading the way in the next major category in the spirits world--pomegranates. Made with all-natural California pomegranates, premium vodka and "a touch" of tequila, PAMA Pomegranate Liqueur is the first premium pomegranate-flavored liqueur available. Ruby red in color with a sweet, yet tart, thick flavor, PAMA is a great representation of the real "forbidden fruit" and can transform a variety of cocktails into an exotic explosion of the recently rediscovered flavor. PAMA is a versatile liqueur that can be mixed into a number of cocktails. It pairs especially well with club soda, Champagne, grapefruit juice and ginger ale and is an exotic sipper when served straight on the rocks with a lemon twist. 17% alcohol

12/16- Anchor Steam Christmas Ale 2007, CSPC 712583; Retail: $14-$17 per 6 x 341 ml. bottles
Click above for more info.
Every year since 1975 the brewers at Anchor Steam have brewed a distinctive and unique Christmas Ale, which is available from early November to mid-January. The Ale’s recipe is different every year—as is the tree on the label—but the intent with which they offer it remains the same: joy and celebration of the newness of life.
Each year the Christmas Ale gets a unique label and a unique recipe for the Ale itself. Although the recipes must remain a secret, many enthusiasts save a few bottles from year to year—stored in a cool dark place—to taste later and compare with other vintages. This year's version has hint of clove and cinnamon. Properly refrigerated, the beer remains intriguing and drinkable for years, with different nuances slowly emerging as the flavor mellows slightly. 5.5% alcohol

11/25- Quady Electra, CSPC 293860; Retail: $10-$13 per 750 ml. bottle
Click above for more info.
With the first sip you feel the wine- light as springtime, delicately sweet, refreshingly crisp, a bouquet of flowers with the taste of peach and melon. Electra is electricity for the mouth!
Created by Quady Winery (California) in 1990, this was a new type of dessert wine, light, delicate, easy to drink, and very refreshing was produced. As the Orange Muscat grape juice was just on the verge of turning into wine— halfway between wine and grape juice, a small test batch was bottled. The wine tasted wonderful, but the alcohol was only 4% (most wines are at least 12%). The wine was bottled using sterile filtration to prevent re-fermentation and the new creation named Electra after the electric like texture one notices on the tip of the tongue.
Electra goes with summer fruits (strawberries, nectarines, peaches, melons), salads, spicy Asian and Indian foods, light desserts, blue skies and fresh air. 4% alcohol

10/21- St-Ambroise Oatmeal Stout, CSPC 922450; Retail: $14-$15 per 6 x 341 ml. bottles
At the World Beer Championship in 1994, St-Ambroise Oatmeal Stout received the second highest rating of the over 200 beers in the competition and won one of only nine platinum medals awarded. Brewed from 40 percent dark malts and roasted barley, this intensely black ale carries strong hints of espresso and chocolate. Oatmeal contributes body and a long-lasting mocha-colored head to this well-hopped beer. It is jet black in colour and the head is a light brownish colour. The aroma is reminiscent of hops, milk chocolate and heavily roasted malt. When you taste the beer, the first thing you notice is the silky smoothness, followed by some subtle carbonation, which makes it lighter in body than a traditional stout, like Guinness. The taste is easy with a good background of malt, coffee, bitterness and subtle sweetness with a malty finish. 5% alcohol

The Tequila blend is then hand blended with Agavero's secret ingredient, the essence of Damiana Flower, a flower indigenous to the hot mountains of Jalisco.
