The 2023 edition of the Edmonton Craft Beer Festival occurring on March 10 and 11 will take over 100,000 sq. ft. of the Edmonton Expo Centre and will be full of breweries, distilleries, restaurants and beer loving enthusiasts.
At Alberta Beer Festivals, we strive to educate our fellow Albertans on all things beer related! Part of what we do is promote craft beer created in our own back yard, in addition to creating a brew culture with positive experiences for everyone. And there’s no better time to do this than at the Edmonton Craft Beer Festival! Increase your beer knowledge and find a new favourite by sampling some of the more than 500 different types of beer on site. Take part in beer seminars, cooking with beer, vote for the People’s Choice awards, and learn something new at Beer University! Meet new people, sample delicious foods from Edmonton's best pubs and restaurants, enjoy the atmosphere and entertainment, and most importantly have a great time!
The Edmonton Craft Beer Festival is a celebration of beer culture in Alberta. The focus is on bringing the beer community together, including brew masters, brewery representatives, restaurant owners, managers and chefs. Together, these experts will share their knowledge through Brew Master Seminars, Cooking With Beer Seminars, food & beer pairings, and so much more. And when it’s all done – cast your vote for your favorite beer and food.
The Distillery District
One of the many reasons people love craft beer and spirits is they feel so connected to the people who brew and distill it! Distillers are authentic, passionate, and take great pride in their work, and with the growing number of craft distillers in Canada ABF is creating a specific area at both the Calgary International Beerfest (May 5 & 6) and Edmonton Craft Beer Festival (March10 & 11) for people to discover these distilled spirits! The Distillery District will be a must-see destination for patrons at Beerfest. They will have their senses stimulated with visual and engaging displays, the ability to sample a wide range of spirits from over a dozen distilleries from Canada and taste delicious food from local restaurants inspired by spirits. There will also be opportunities to learn about the process of making spirits via seminars that will take place in the district area and exhibitors will be able to interact with festival goers to uncover why this is the next evolution!
