Cabaret to follow both rodeo performances. The entertainment will start as soon as the last bull bucks! If you attend the rodeo, your wristband gets you into the cabaret. Otherwise, tickets are $5 at the door

The Airdrie Pro Rodeo is one of the largest 10 Rodeos in Canada, and is the longest standing athletic event in Airdrie. It attracts some of the best cowboys and cowgirls offering fans the opportunity to see world class athletes in an intimate and light-hearted atmosphere. It offers the city a unique tradition to celebrate and be proud of.
The Rodeo’s roots date back to July 1 1967 when the Airdrie’s Lions Club organized a gymkhana and parade in celebration of Canada’s 100th anniversary. In fact the first Canada Day parade was also part of the celebration in 1967 and was organized by the Rodeo committee for many years. Today the Rodeo includes a Pro and novice Rodeo, cabaret and children's activities. It attracts over 10,000 visitors, volunteers, and athletes each year. As the event has grown, the spirit of a community gathering has been preserved, with a casual fun atmosphere where you can get so close to the action you often get a bit dirt of flying your way and with something for people of all ages and backgrounds.
This annual event is organized by the Airdrie Rodeo Ranch Association, a not-for-profit, 100% volunteer driven group of passionate community members who are committed to preserving our rural roots and promoting our great community. Interested in lending a hand, learn more about becoming a part of the fun.
Every fan loves watching the kids as they give it their all! Let your young cow folk experience rodeo first hand by entering them in one of the Jr. Rodeo events: Mutton Busting, Sheep Scramble, Calf Scramble, Wild Horse Riding, Pee Wee Barrel Racing & Jr. Barrel Racing.
Also Mini Broncs & Wild Pony Races. There is something for everyone! Kids' Activities, Food Trucks, Beer Gardens, Evening Entertainment & Camping. The grounds offer live music every night, free parking, free camping, and more. After the last bull is ridden, the entertainment in the beer gardens begins. There will be a cabarets on some nights as well. So stick around and dance the night away.
