Farm to Flame

Join in for a Farm to Flame Dinner featuring local pork with Chef Tyson Wright & Irvings Farm to kick off Alberta on the Plate week! Come experience food cooked over the open fire and enjoy your meal in a 1950’s barn overlooking Whitemud creek. Sit back, relax and take in the sights and sounds of the country!

Join in for a Farm to Table Dinner with Red Seal Journeyman Chef Rui, owner of Villa Bistro & feature farmer Fifth Gen Gardens. Enjoy your meal in a 1950’s barn overlooking Whitemud creek. Sit back, relax and take in the sights and sounds of the country!

From August 11 to 20, experience Alberta on the Plate, highlighting all things local.

Alberta on the Plate showcases the incredible bounty that is grown and produced across our beautiful province. Throughout the year, they celebrate and share the Alberta food story by introducing you to the people and businesses that grow, raise, create, and support the agri-food industry in Alberta. They also help to establish meaningful connections between local chefs and producers to increase the volume of local ingredients used in restaurants while building the resiliency of our local food value chain.

Every August during Alberta Local Food Week, Alberta on the Plate hosts a ten-day, province-wide dine around festival. For those ten days, participating restaurants offer multi-course, fixed-price menus highlighting local producers, growers, distillers and brewers. From the mountains to the prairies, the big cities to the small towns, get out and explore Alberta’s incredible local food scene while supporting the farmers and producers that are feeding Albertans day in and day out. Show your support of Alberta food by dining in or ordering out at participating restaurants both during the festival and throughout the rest of the year!
