Elliston Park opens at 6:00 p.m., so come early, set up your lawn chairs and take in the sights, sounds, smells, and tastes that the OneWorld Festival has to offer. Pavilions from some of Calgary's unique cultural communities will be showcasing their heritage dress, cultural music, incredible performances, and interactive activities for all. Take a stroll through the Night Market featuring vendors that will have authentic handcrafted arts and keepsakes.
The OneWorld Festival presented by TD encompasses all the cultural programming that happens at GlobalFest in Elliston Park before the sun goes down and the International Fireworks Festival begins. The food, the music and dance, the Tipi Village and the pavilions.
A delicious selection of over 23 food trucks and international food booths will tempt everyone’s taste buds while with a culinary tour of the world, plus we are again planning for the whole park to be been licensed to allow guests over the age of 18 to enjoy alcoholic beverages wherever they are seated. In addition to 17 cultural pavilions – community activation spaces and night market will be back in 2023 with a new entertainment area for all the youngsters (and young at heart) to enjoy.

Calgary has the world in its hands embracing diversity across the planet through food, drink, entertainment, fireworks, and tons of family fun.
GlobalFest burst onto the scene in 2003 with 10 cultural pavilions and three countries competing in Calgary's very own international fireworks competition. On the fourth and final night of the international competition, the festival celebrated a remarkable accomplishment. The festival had attendance of close to 100,000 in the very first year, making GlobalFest one of Calgary's top draws for local citizens and tourists alike.
GlobalFest @ Elliston is an annual celebration of Calgary’s multi-cultural communities, featuring pavilions, performances, international food, children’s programming and fireworks. Illuminating the sky with a colliding orchestra of light and sound, this year’s celebration event will showcase presentations produced by world-class pyro musical artists hailing from Austria, Italy, Portugal and Spain, plus a Canadian-produced finale.
GlobalFest is a not-for-profit community development agency dedicated to celebrating, showcasing and promoting Calgary’s ethno-cultural diversity and artistic excellence. It enriches the lives of our citizens and strengthen our community, while simultaneously enhancing Alberta’s reputation as an international destination. GlobalFest is dedicated to facilitating discussions around racism, discrimination, oppression and justice, through forums and educational programming with the intention of sustaining commitment by our community to work towards a more inclusive society.
